Earrings for a round face

If you have a round face, it is best to go for elongated earrings. Long earrings make your face look smaller and longer.

Stud earrings, small earrings and earrings that are too round should be avoided. These rather accentuate the round shape of your face.

Earrings for an oval face

Women with an oval-shaped face are the most lucky, they stand with almost all types of earrings. Only very long earrings are to be avoided, because they make your face look longer than it actually is.

Earrings for a heart-shaped face

If you have a heart-shaped face (more on a point at the bottom), it is best to choose earrings that are narrower at the top and wider at the bottom. That way they give the narrower part of your face more volume. Your jawline comes out wider next to beautiful statement earrings and makes you shine that way.

It is better to avoid long, narrow earrings or earrings that are slightly heavier at the top.

Earrings for a long, rectangular face

Short and wide earrings are best for a long face. These bring your fine face into better balance.

Long, narrow earrings are to be avoided. This would just make your face look even longer.

Earrings for a square face

If you have a square face, go for round or teardrop shaped earrings. They perfectly balance your angular jawlines and provide a more nuanced look. Square earrings or very fine earrings are rather out of the question.

Earrings for a diamond shaped face

If you have a diamond-shaped face, it is best to choose earrings that are slightly narrower at the top and flare out towards the bottom (cone-shaped). But, studs and small earrings can certainly be a good idea. Again, it is best to avoid earrings that have the same shape as your face (diamond shape). Otherwise, the widest point of your face will be flush with the wide point of your earrings.

Earrings for a triangular or triangular face

Earrings that are larger at the top and narrow to fit your face as well as round and oval shaped earrings. Avoid triangle/triangular earrings.
