Article 1 – Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed via www.petitbonbon.be. By placing an order, the customer accepts these terms, to the exclusion of any other terms, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Article 2 – Offer and order
All offers and product information on the website are non-binding and may be changed or corrected. A contract is concluded once the order is confirmed and payment is received, or once Petit Bonbon has started processing the order.
Article 3 – Prices
All prices are in EUR, including VAT and excluding shipping costs, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are clearly shown during checkout before the final confirmation. Petit Bonbon may change prices; however, the price shown at the time of ordering applies.
Article 4 – Payment
Payment can be made using the available payment methods (e.g. Bancontact, credit card, PayPal, iDEAL and bank transfer). Bank transfers may take a few business days to be received. Orders are shipped only after full payment has been received. Any invoicing errors should be reported by email as soon as possible.
Article 5 – Processing, shipping and delivery
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, unless stated otherwise on the product page (for example for pre-orders or busy periods). After dispatch, delivery usually takes place on the next business day. In most cases, delivery occurs within 1–2 business days after dispatch.
The estimated delivery date is always shown on the product page and is indicative only. Delivery times are not binding. Once dispatched, the customer receives a tracking link by email.
Article 6 – Delivery methods
Delivery is available via home delivery or pickup point. The chosen delivery method cannot be changed after the order has been placed.
Pickup point
The pickup point is selected after payment on the confirmation page. If no pickup point is selected, the parcel will automatically be sent to the nearest pickup point.
Article 7 – Transfer of risk
The risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery at the provided address (home delivery) or when the parcel is made available at the pickup point (pickup point).
Article 8 – Uncollected parcels
If a parcel is not collected in time and is returned to Petit Bonbon, reshipping costs are borne by the customer. Incorrect or incomplete addresses are the customer’s responsibility and may result in additional costs.
Article 9 – In-store pickup by appointment
Order pickup is possible by appointment via email only and on weekdays only. Weekends are excluded. Orders are usually ready for pickup within 4 hours, unless agreed otherwise.
Article 10 – Pre-orders
Pre-order items are shipped as soon as they are back in stock. An estimated lead time is always shown on the product page. If an order contains both pre-order items and in-stock items, the full order will be shipped once the pre-order item is available. On request, a partial shipment can be arranged by email; additional shipping costs may apply.
Article 11 – Right of withdrawal (consumers)
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after delivery without stating a reason. Items must be returned within this period, at the customer’s cost, unused, undamaged and in their original condition.
For hygiene reasons, worn earrings cannot be returned. After valid withdrawal, the purchase price (excluding shipping costs) is refunded within 14 days after receipt of the return.
Article 12 – Warranty and complaints
The statutory warranty applies in accordance with Belgian law. Visible defects or damage must be reported immediately upon receipt by email. The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, normal wear and tear, modifications or insufficient maintenance.
Article 13 – Retention of title
Delivered goods remain the property of Petit Bonbon until full payment of all amounts due has been received.
Article 14 – Intellectual property
All texts, images, designs, logos and other content on the website are protected by intellectual property rights. Any reproduction or use without prior written permission is prohibited.
Article 15 – Online dispute resolution (ODR)
In case of a dispute, consumers may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
Article 16 – Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed exclusively by Belgian law. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Belgian courts.
Article 17 – Changes
Petit Bonbon may update these terms and conditions. The version applicable at the time of ordering always applies.
