A long necklace with open, oval links and, on one side, a row of small freshwater pearls. It's that asymmetric detail that makes it playful: with every move, the pearl section shifts ever so slightly.
Length 63.5 cm. It falls halfway down your chest, lovely over a fine knit or a plain top. Wear it on its own or pair it with a shorter necklace for a layered look. Made of 18k gold-plated brass with real freshwater pearls, nickel-free and light to wear (21 grams). Because these are natural pearls, each one differs slightly in shape and lustre.
Also available as a set with the oval link bracelet.
Good to know: this necklace is gold-plated, not solid gold. It isn't water-resistant and doesn't tolerate perfume, soap, chlorine, salt water or body lotion, and neither do the pearls. Take it off before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping and before washing your hands, and only put it on once your perfume and cream have fully absorbed. Store it dry and separately in its box, so it doesn't rub against your other jewellery.
The gold layer gradually wears away through wear and friction, usually first at the clasp and on the parts that move the most. That's normal for gold-plated jewellery: the more carefully you treat it, the longer it stays beautiful. Read here how best to care for your jewellery.
